ChangelogCombusto 1.4.0: town pages explain themselves, and the site finally links together
Town pages now include real context and an FAQ, new community and brand pages tie the whole site together, and Combusto has its own blog.
Combusto 1.4.0 is the biggest content update since launch.
What's new
- Every town page now opens with a short, real introduction (station count, town, province, official source) and a visible FAQ, instead of just the price table on its own.
- New pages for every autonomous community and every major fuel brand, each with its own cheapest-price ranking. A sidebar on town, province and home pages links to them, plus the most-searched towns — and it reacts instantly when you switch fuel, with no extra requests.
- On the home page, the national cheapest-price highlight and "most searched towns" are now front and center until you have your own favourites or a "nearby" search on screen — then they quietly move to the sidebar as background info.
- Combusto now has its own blog, with editorial articles written and published from Studio Apps Manager. Linked from the footer and from the sidebar's "From the blog" section.
Fixes
- The fuel selector in the header showed "barato" (Spanish for "cheap") on all four options instead of each fuel's actual name.
- On the home page, removing your last saved favourite town used to leave the sidebar highlight stuck out of sight instead of bringing it back to the main content.
