ChangelogIronHex 1.0.3: full English and Spanish support, plus 52 training plans
Multi-language support, a redesigned exercise browser, smarter training plan recommendations, and a long list of fixes for syncing, personal records and notifications.
Highlights
- Full English and Spanish support. IronHex now detects your device's language on first launch and you can switch it anytime from Profile → Settings — no restart needed.
- 52 training plans. Every combination of goal, level and training days now has a matching plan, so the dashboard always recommends one that actually fits you.
- Redesigned exercise browser. Muscle group and equipment filters are now compact dropdowns that narrow each other down, and search understands Spanish accents and plural/singular forms.
- Switch views mid-workout. Toggle between the focused (one exercise at a time) and full-list layouts from the active workout screen without losing your progress.
- Multi-device protection. If you start a workout on a new device while another one still has a session open, IronHex now warns you instead of silently creating a duplicate entry.
Also new
- Two-tier personal record banners: a gold trophy for an all-time PR, a blue ribbon for your best in the last 30 days.
- "Add to routine" button right on the exercise detail screen.
- Rest time presets and fine adjustment from each exercise's menu during a workout.
- Reorder exercises mid-workout without losing the weights and reps you've already entered.
- A "How many days per week?" question during onboarding, used to recommend a better-matching plan.
- Profile and Settings are now two separate screens.
- Exercise demonstration photos now match your selected gender when available.
- A duration prompt when you mark a program day as done manually, so it shows up correctly in Recent Workouts.
Fixed
- Exercise notes now reliably sync and survive an app reinstall.
- Several rare cases where a finished workout could reappear after reinstalling the app with 0 sets or 0 kg logged.
- Personal records for bodyweight exercises no longer get overwritten by weighted sets, or the other way around.
- A workout could crash on resume if the routine was edited while it was paused.
- Removing a set during a workout now actually saves — it used to come back next session.
- Imported training plans and program week progress now update correctly.
- Notifications (rest timer, workout in progress) now follow your app language instead of always showing in English.
- A password reset security issue that could let a reset be bypassed by closing and reopening the app at the wrong moment.
- Renaming a routine or program no longer snaps back to its original translated name.
- A long list of screens and notifications that were still showing English text with the app set to Spanish.
Thanks for testing IronHex and sending feedback — keep it coming!
